Outback Summer Program

Outback Summer Program provides a high-quality summer experience for families who value creativity, culture and community.

Monday, July 1 – Friday, August 23
Monday through Friday.

This year's program runs 8 one-week sessions with regular day and extended day options:

  • Regular Day = 8:30AM-3:00PM
  • Extended Day = 8:30AM-5:45PM

 

Ages: 5 to 11.

Grades Junior Kindergarten through 5th grade.

Eligibility is based on grade level. Children are eligible if they rising Kindergarten through 6th grade (in that grade level by the start of the new school year).

Registration opens on March 13th and runs until we reach capacity. We do have waitlist (the system will tell you when you've submitted your application if you are on a waitlist). Sometimes new spots open up right before summer.

Enroll through online registration system when registration opens. It's recommended to set up an account beforehand to make sure you're ready day of. You will then pay a deposit and complete a permissions form. As soon as you've completed your registration paperwork, the system will notify you if you've been enrolled or placed on our waitlist.

Cost

The cost of the program is still to-be-determined.

You can read more about typical financial assistance requirements on our website. We have some spots available for families with childcare vouchers or who would qualify for a scholarship. Complete a scholarship application and provide a 1040 tax form + 2 recent paystubs, OR contact registration@agassiz.org to get a confirmation of provider form for a voucher.

Additional information

We specialize in building community through creative explorations where children can build friendships and express their individuality. Through daily activities in ceramics, painting, crafts, basketball, soccer, science, beach days, field trips and more, we inspire children to let their imaginations guide them! This year, Outback will be taking weekly beach trips to Singing Beach, except for weeks 1 and 8
