Learn gentle stretching, alignment, & efficient movements of tai chi. Enjoy health benefits and connection in classes with an experienced practitioner blending eastern practices with western knowledge

No application or registration needed.

Cost

Classes are be $12 each. Limited financial aid is available email Kathy Dalton, here  to inquire about financial aid.

Walk down the driveway to the left of 20 Sacramento Street, in good weather find us in the backyard.

If it is raining or very hot walk into the Maud Morgan building at the back of the driveway & come upstairs to the studio.

Both the 77 and 96 buses pass by Sacramento Street. Or a 15 minute walk from either the Porter Square or Harvard Square T stop

Additional information

Explore posture and stance exercises, qigong, and techniques from classic tai in these intro classes for those 55 and up. Exercises emphasize gentle stretching, core alignment and efficiency of movement. Jean will share the history & health benefits of tai chi. The practice will be modified for those with physical limitations. Beginners welcome!

Living Well Network Tai Chi is taught by Jean Lukitsh, who studied with Tai Chi master Bow Sim Mark since 1978. Outdoors in good weather; inside the studio if not.

An intermediate/advanced class, meets at 10 am on Saturdays email if interested.
