Additional information

If the first thing that pops into your mind when you think of the ancient Mediterranean is gleaming marble, join us for a fresh view of Greece and Rome through close looking at small terracotta figurines. Held in conjunction with the exhibition A World Within Reach: Greek and Roman Art from the Loeb Collection, this Art Study Center Seminar will offer insights into why small, broken, and humble figurines were chosen to be the stars of our show.
