Travel Football, Cheerleading, and Flag Football

We provide a summer and autumn football and cheerleading season for K-8th grade students that fosters teamwork and leadership skills in young athletes.
This program runs during the school year.
- Cheerleading runs Aug.-May, usually a 2 or 3 days each week.
- Flag Football: starts Sept. 10th Games on Sundays. Divisions meets vary by group.
- Girls Travel Football: schedule TBD
- Boy Travel Football: Practice Tues, Weds, & Thurs 6:30-8:00 PM
Ages: 3 to 14.
Grades Kindergarten through 8th grade.
Each league listed below has different age requirements. Generally speaking K-8th graders, ages 5-14. Flag football includes ages 3 and 4. Boys Travel football is only ages 7-12.

Cost
The cost of participation varies depending on the program. Flag football leagues cost $100. Cambridge Warriors tackle football is TBD. Cheerleading program is $100.

League activities include practice, games, and competitions. We have 3 upcoming opportunities we'd like to announce:
- We are joining New England Flag Football for a fall league for boys and girls ages 3-17. They will be taking care of the registration process, rec assignments, team placement, etc.
Starts: Sunday, September 11th
Time: 9am, 10am, 11am start times depending on age group

- Cambridge Falcons youth travel flag football teams for boys and girls ages 7-14. Only 7-12 players will selected for each age group. Tryouts are Free.
Tryouts: September 1st 6-8pm

Location: Russel Field, CambridgeTravel team will be $75 a player will cover custom jerseys & flags. Additional travel expenses and tournament fees will be communicated shortly after child is placed on a team. This travel team may take part in NFL flag tourneys, AFFL tourneys, or random local tourneys. More info will be communicated.
- Cambridge Pop Warner and Cheerleading. We will be merging with Somerville Pop warner to ensure we have proper numbers for your children to have a great fun Season!
Registration can be completed online at Cambridgewarriors.org ($50 for early bird registration and $100 after August 1st).
Practices: Monday-Friday 5:30pm-7:30pm until Labor Day
