Additional information

Join Margaret Morgan Grasselli for an in-depth discussion about the 18th-century invention of the multicolor, multiplate printing technique that laid the foundation for today’s CMYK process. Grasselli will examine several examples of this technique on view in the special exhibition Dare to Know: Prints and Drawings in the Age of Enlightenment, with particular focus given to Jacques-Fabien Gautier d’Agoty’s Muscles of the Back.
