About Edward of Mouth

Edward of Mouth (a.k.a Edward Alexander Jr) is a spoken word artist originally from South Bend, Indiana. His poetry and monologue work have been featured as part of the Black Monologues at UVa and Thomas Jefferson's Monticello. A lyricist with a background in theatre and drama, Edward of Mouth combines the rhythms of hip-hop with the imagistic storytelling of poetic prose. Outside of performing, Edward of Mouth is an energetic host for Boston area events and for his podcast The Spoken Word with Edward.
