Mayor's Summer Youth Employment Program (MSYEP) Application Period

MSYEP offers summer jobs to Cambridge teens, from age 14 through the summer after they graduate high school.

The Mayor's Summer Youth Employment Program (MSYEP) will run for 6 weeks, from July 6 - August 13, 2021.  The registration period to apply for MSYEP runs from May 3 - May 14, 2021

Ages 14 to 18.

Cambridge residents only

Students must prove that they are eligible to work in the U.S.

Location

  • Both in-person and virtual (online or over the phone).

Worksites and other activities are located all over the city.  Worksites will offer a mix of virtual, hybrid and in-person opportunities.

Additional information

Teens are placed in a variety of virtual, hybrid and in-person jobs for six weeks during the summer. They work about twenty hours/week, earning minimum wage.
