WHAT IS A STORY SLAM?
It is a live (virtual) event in which storytellers have five minutes to tell a story without notes and based on a theme.
WHAT IS THE THEME?
Resilience, in any form. Some of our tellers have overcome insurmountable personal odds. Others have had their manuscripts rejected, but through persistence, eventually accepted. They’ll tell stories of scientific failure. Personal failure. And what it took to shake it off, get back up again, and succeed.
