Vigil in Memory of George Floyd

We will be holding a vigil as a community to acknowledge the pain and remember the many lives lost to racism, intolerance, police brutality and other forms of violence.

Additional information
We will have brief remarks from Mayor Sumbul Siddiqui, Councillor Denise Simmons, City Manager Louis DePasquale, Cambridge Police Superintendent Christine Elow, and Peace Commission Director Brian Corr; and an invocation from Pastor Lorraine Thornhill and a benediction from Bishop Brian Greene.
We will end our vigil with a moment of silence to honor those lost and to renew our commitment to social justice, tolerance, and equality.
