The Cambridge El Salvador Sister City Committee, the Cambridge Women’s Commission, Office of the Mayor Sumbul Siddiqui and Mass Peace Action invite you to hear from Salvadoran women in resistance.

¡El Comité Ciudad Hermana de Cambridge-El Salvador, la Comisión de Mujeres de Cambridge, la Oficina de la  Alcaldesa Sumbul Siddiqui y Mass Peace Action les invitan a escuchar a las mujeres salvadoreñas en la lucha.

Diana Becerra, U Mass history and gender professor and community organizer, will share her reflections of Salvadoran women active in the resistance during the war against their US funded government forces. Salvadoran Somerville community organizer Irma Flores and Salvadoran Housing Justice organizer Gabriela Cartagena and will make the connections to local organizing in the present.

Diana Sierra Becerra Oradora destacada, activista, organizadora comunitaria,y profesora de historia y género de U Mass Amherst compartirá sus reflexiones a través de la historia de las mujeres salvadoreñas que luchan frente a tiempos  igualmente difíciles.  Con Irma Flores, Organizadora comunitaria salvadoreña &  Gabriela Cartagena, Activista salvadoreña por el derecho a la vivienda.
