Sign-up Information
- Ages: Adults.
- You must be18 years or older.
- You must be eligible to work in the U.S. (have a valid work permit, resident card, or U.S. citizenship).
- Cambridge residents are given first priority.
Application required
- Registration dates
토요일, 11월 1 – 금요일, 12월 19
- You must attend an information session.
- To apply for the upcoming year, you should apply by mid-December of the previos year (see website for specifics)
- You must complete a math, reading, and writing assessment for placement.

Parking is limited to metered street parking and nearby garages. We do not have our own lot. However, we are well-served by the MBTA. We are one block from the Central Square Red Line station. There is also a bus stop in front of our center where buses 70, 64, 83, and 91 stop.
Dates and Times
This program runs during the school year.
The program is 17 weeks, from January – May.
- Classes meet on Monday and Wednesday evenings from 5:30 – 8:30 p.m.
- Most classes are in-person. There are online options later in the program.
Additional information
The program provides support and resources for participants to start or change a career that is in line with their goals. You’ll get support with identifying your own job skills and strengths, writing your resume, and practicing for interviews. The program invites job training providers to give presentations so you can make connections, expand your professional network, and learn how to take the next step in your career.
The program includes:
- Classes to build communication and computer skills for the workplace
- Support exploring options for career training
- Help applying to local career training programs
- One-on-one career advising with ongoing support
