Our preschool provides a daily routine that affords the children the opportunity to investigate many materials, both independently and in teacher-directed projects.

This program runs during the school year.
Monday through Friday. Morning and Afternoon.

We are a 10-month program (Sept - June), with an optional 5 or 6-week summer program. Fall Semester Sept. 11th, 2023 - Jan. 28th, 2024 Spring Semester Jan.29th, 2024 - June 18th, 2024 (Summer Camp will also be available in June-August). Our school year program runs weekdays from 8:30 AM - 12:00 PM with extended day available until 3:00 PM.

Ages: 2 to 5.

Grades Preschool and Junior Kindergarten.

Students must be age 2.9 years old (2 years and 9 months) or above by September 30th to be eligible. Students can participate through age 5.

Cambridge Nursery School Enrollment

Admissions for the current school year go until October, admissions after that point are considered for the following school year.

In order to enroll, call the school and talk to the director, set up a tour, pay deposit, and fill out paper work. Admission is rolling unless we fill up. Applications are accepted at the Fall Open House and on a rolling basis thereafter. A non-refundable Application Fee ($45) is due with each application. Cost

Varies depending on hour preference (regular day or Extended day). Tuition is typically over $10,000/school year.

Additional information

The morning begins with an extended period of free play that includes opportunities for children to explore independently or work in small groups. Activities include water or sand play, dramatic play, outdoor play, art/science projects, music lessons, yoga/mindfulness, manipulatives, large blocks, academic and play-based learning and parent partnerships. As the morning progresses, the children have a whole-group meeting, snack, and story time. Children spend time outside every morning, weather-permitting in our fully equipped, fenced-in playground.
