Biomedical Careers Training Program

JAS Biomedical Careers Program provides nine months of intensive training to prepare adults for entry-level careers in the life sciences.
This program runs during the school year.
The Biomedical Careers Program runs September through May.
Ages: 18 and Adults.
This training program is free for all eligible students. To be eligible students must: be a Massachusetts resident, have a high school diploma, meet low to moderate income eligibility, and pass an Accuplacer exam.

Additional information
This free, nine-month program provides instruction in biology, chemistry, medical terminology, and computer and laboratory skills. The laboratory training is done at our building located across the street from Alewife Station on the Red Line. In the program, students also receive job readiness training such as preparing a resume, interviewing, and job search, and are introduced to industry professionals through career talks and employer site visits. After graduation, students receive follow up services for up to one year, until they are placed in relevant employment.
