Additional information

At the ESC clients receive medical and mental health care, nutritional food, personal hygiene supplies, clean clothes, counseling, case management, and employment, housing, and treatment referrals in an environment that is welcoming and safe.

Shelter capacity is 50 beds with no ability to add overflow beds at this time.  The shelter is working to place guests in the same bed every night and has taken other precautions to encourage social distancing.  The shelter will set up a temporary isolation room for guests presenting with symptoms.  Guest can remain in isolation temporarily until a more appropriate facility is identified.  Shelter will be putting tents out back to distribute meals and allow people to distance themselves at mealtimes. Baycove has started twice monthly risk assessment and crisis planning meetings with BEST at the Field House and 240.
