We offer programs that teach people of all ages how to cook.

- Ages: 8 to 12.
Our classes serve ages 8+, but our Pre-Teen Classes over the summer serve 8-12 years old. Scholarship priority goes to CPS students on free/reduced lunch.

Deadline: programs fill at varying rates. Almost all summer classes still have spots open as of
March, but many will fill by May.
Cost
$495 for a 5 day pre-teen class; $595 for a 5 day teen class. The Middle School Network has a scholarship arrangement with CSCA where families pay a lower family contribution based on income level; if you would like to attend a class but can’t afford the cost, please email Annie Leavitt at aleavitt@cpsd.us.

Dates and Times
This program runs during the summer.
Classes are offered at different dates throughout the summer. Each class is usually 4 hours long, either in the morning (9:30-1:30) or 3 hours long from 3-6pm. Most are 5 days long, so 4 hours a day across a whole week.
Additional information
We have a local culinary school offers Teen and Pre-Teen cooking/baking classes at their Porter Square location, including a Pre-Teen Bakeshop and other classes.
