Enroot Volunteer Mentors and Tutors Needed!

Our volunteer mentors and tutors work 1:1 with immigrant high school and college students for an academic year to empower them to achieve academic, career, and person success.

This program runs during the school year.

Ages Young Adult to Senior Adult.
Grades 9th grade through 12th grade.
Volunteers must be 18+ to tutor, and 21+ to mentor. We run criminal background checks (CORIs) and SORIs on all volunteers as well as checking with two references.

Virtual for this academic year. We will be hosting students and volunteers through Zoom and/or other virtual platform.
Additional information
Between August and September, Enroot will host volunteer orientations where community members can learn about the volunteer opportunities and the program as a whole. We are specifically looking for interested volunteers who speak another language, who are immigrants themselves, and are passionate about creating a welcoming community.
