Additional information

The Home-Based Early Childhood Education Program supports parents in their role as their children’s first teachers. For over 40 years, the program has provided trained Home Visitors to families with young children. Certified by the ParentChild+ (PC+) Program, a research-based national program; this program encourages parents to use play, everyday items, and their own community as tools for learning.

The Home-Based Program offers weekly, one-hour home visits throughout the school year. During a home visit, your Home Visitor will bring a new book and play materials. Home Visitors share skills, ideas, resources, and activities related to the curriculum materials. All without cost to families.
