Applications must be submitted using our online portal, Ravenna. There is no fee to apply.
- January 15th: Application deadline for priority review (January 15th is also the Financial Aid application deadline; learn more here)
- March 10th: Decisions released to families
- April 10th: Deadline to confirm enrollment at ISB for the following year
ISB’s enrollment process also supports international mobility. We accept applications year-round depending on space availability and student qualifications. Applicants admitted after April 10th will have one week to respond to an offer of admission.

The International School of Boston is located at the intersection of Cambridge, Somerville, and Arlington, Massachusetts - just minutes from downtown Boston and easily accessible by public transportation, walking, or biking. Cambridge residents can use the Cambridge Public School (CPS) bus system for free. ISB also has two bus routes: Boston (serving downtown and Charlestown) and Lexington (serving Newton, Lexington, and Belmont).
Dates and Times
This program runs during the school year.
All doors open at 7:30 AM and close at 6:00 PM.
- The Maternelle day is from 8:15 AM to 3:00 PM, with after-school programs until 6:00 PM.
- The Lower School day is from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with after-school programs available until 6:00 PM.
- The Middle and Upper School day is from 8:00 AM to 3:25 PM, although some classes may extend beyond 3:30 PM. Extracurriculars run until 5:30 PM.
