For Overdose Prevention Trainings we require advanced coordination and a headcount of those attending. For the Youth Mental Health First Aid Training you will be registered on an online platform to complete necessary coursework. Please email Danielle McPeak for the Overdose Prevention Training or to coordinate a Narcan pick-up. You can also email Danielle McPeak to coordinate a Youth Mental Health First Aid Training.

The program location changes over time.

  • Both in-person and virtual (online or over the phone).

We typically offer our trainings to businesses, organizations, and other community groups wherever they meet. Narcan distribution takes place at the Public Health Offices on the 2nd Floor of 119 Windsor Street, Cambridge, MA 02139 or at distribution events across the city.

Additional information

  • Youth Mental Health First Aid - we offer a 6-8 hour training for adults that focuses on recognizing mental health issues in youth and how to respond appropriately.
  • Narcan Program - we provide free Narcan upon request.
  • Overdose Prevention Training - we offer a 1-hour training for providers where we cover basic opioid education, overdose prevention and response.
  • Youth Wellness Working Group - this is a coalition of youth and people who work with youth to promote youth wellness in our community.
