Mental Health Services for Children and Families
We're actively accepting referrals, for virtual and in person mental health supports for children and families struggling with emotional or behavioral challenges.
This is an ongoing program.
Ages: 3 to Young Adult.
Grades Preschool through 12th grade.
In order to access CBHI services through Riverside's CSA including Intensive Care Coordination, Family Partner, In home therapy, in home behavioral therapy, and therapeutic mentoring, the child/family must meet medical criteria. Eligibility is determined when a child/family is facing emotional/behavioral disturbances that impact their day to day ability to function at home, in the community, or in school.

Insurance based. Accepting most commercial insurances and Mass Health. Please call to inquire if your insurance is accepted.
The program serves people at their homes or wherever it is needed or online.

Supports are generally provided within family's homes, but can also be done within the community, or at our 12 Tyler street location.
Families who have children ages 3-21 who are struggling with significant emotional and/or behavioral challenges are provided mental health supports under The Children's Behavioral Health Initiative (CBHI). Families are assigned an Intensive Care Coordinator and Family Partner (a parent who has lived experience raising a child with special needs) if needed. Can also include in home therapy or in home behavioral therapy and therapeutic mentoring.
Program continues to run during Winter vacation, February vacation, and April vacation.
