Additional information

With over fifty years of history, HSSP is a multi-weekend program where hundreds of middle and high schoolers come to take classes at MIT. HSSP is run entirely by an MIT student organization. Join us for many days of learning anything and everything! Check out the catalog and register for classes at esp.mit.edu/sphssp2024

Open to 7th graders through 12th graders, Spring HSSP 2024 is a five-weekend program that will run on the Saturdays between March 2 and April 6 (excluding March 16). Classes — both academic and non-academic — are offered in several time blocks from 1 to 4 PM EST, and will take place fully in person on MIT’s campus this spring.

Spring HSSP offers a unique opportunity for you to explore a topic in depth with MIT students and interact with other like-minded students! Classes cover various fields, from “A Primer in Quantum Computing” to “Politics of Art Collectives” to “Nuclear Reactors: Science and Operation”.

Classes will be assigned by lottery, and all registrations by February 19th will be considered equally, so take your time to look through our catalog! You can rank up to three classes per time block as “priority” and express interest in as many additional classes as you’d like. The lottery stage of registration will close at 11:59 pm EST on February 19th.
