Summer Food Program 2021

We provide free and nutritionally balanced meals to Cambridge residents 18 years of age and under. There are vegetarian and non-vegetarian options offered at all meal sites!

Summer Food Program
Monday through Friday. Afternoon.

Regular Breakfast & Lunch sites meal distribution takes place between 11:30am - 1:00pm

Evening meals and Cambridge Summer Basketball Leagues are between 6:00pm - 7:30pm (youth DO NOT have to be in the league to pick up a meal)

Ages Infant to 18.

All grades.

The Summer Food Program has food sites at: 

  • Cambridge Rindge & Latin School at 459 Broadway, Cambridge, MA 02138 near Mid Cambridge and West Cambridge neighborhoods.
  • The Moore Youth Center at 12 Gilmore Street, Cambridge, MA 02139 near the Riverside and Cambridgeport neighborhoods.

Additional information

The 2021 Cambridge Summer Food Program will offer free meals June 28 – September 3, 2021, Monday – Friday from 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. You can find the Summer Food breakfast and lunch locations listed elsewhere on this page.

Free evening meals will be provided at Cambridge Summer Basketball Leagues from 6:00 – 7:30 p.m. beginning the week of July 5th. Click here for information about league locations and schedules. Youth can pick up a meal at each site even if they are not playing in a league.

In addition to the sites listed below and open to the public, the Summer Food Program provides meals to summer camps operated in the Cambridge Youth Centers and Cambridge Schools.
