Elementary School Age Opportunities

Join us over winter vacation for a family movie at the Library!

We will be screening Dog Man - PG  (Dreamworks, 2025). Snacks will be provided.

Join us for a community building party at Valente as we build structures with LEGOS, wooden sticks, cards, and any other materials we can get our hands on!

Come to the Library for games and a different activity each week! Kids of all ages can hang out and do crafts or STEAM activities. No registration required. 

Join friends at the O'Neill Branch to build, build, BUILD!

It's a weekly block party!

Learn a new hobby and make a textured art piece with cardboard loom weaving! All materials are provided. Recommended for ages 5 and up. Registration is not required for this event.

The Harvard School of Dental Medicine's Students for Smiles Club and the Central Square Branch Library are hosting a free community event on oral health.

Our monthly Middle Grade Mystery book group is for kids aged 10-14.

Party like you just got your first library card! All Kindergartners, along with their families and friends, are welcome to attend. We will have activities, crafts and snacks.

Stop by the Boudreau Branch after school to create something using 3D pens! This drop-in event is intended for school aged children and their families.

“Lights, Camera, Magic!” features films from around the world—many premiering in North America—and hands-on animation workshops led by veteran Hollywood artists. Day 3 takes place @ The Brattle.
