Cambridge Book Bike

Book Bike visits 5 parks in the summer to distribute free books to Cambridge children of all ages, in conjunction with DHSP's Summer Food program.

Cambridge residents only.

- 07/12 = Fresh Pond Apartments Playground (Rindge Ave)
- 07/19 = Hoyt Field (Gilmore St)
- 07/26 = Gore Street Park (Gold Star Mothers Park)
- 08/02 = Danehy Park (near universal playground)
- 08/09 = Greene-Rose Heritage Park (Harvard St)
Additional information
From 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM children can pick their own book to take home from a wide selection of books, do a fun craft activity and hear stories read aloud. The Book Bike encourages summer reading by modeling that reading is fun!
