Additional information

The Foundry Festival is an opportunity for the Cambridge and Greater Boston communities to learn, create, and connect with one another through free Arts and STEM programming. The weeklong event intends to bridge generational gaps and foster connections between communities. The first festival took place in February 2023 with the theme of “storytelling”. The 2024 festival’s theme is “change making”. Activities will explore how art and design can drive social change and inspire community engagement.

About the Foundry Consortium:

The Foundry Consortium is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that operates The Foundry building in East Cambridge, MA. The Foundry addresses the problems of financial and spatial inequities affecting artists and other makers by providing access to specialized space and equipment for hands-on creation. Offering maker spaces, multi-purpose rooms, a dance studio, art studio, performance space, and demonstration kitchen, The Foundry brings STEM and the Arts under one roof for the Cambridge community.

Event continues to run during February vacation.
