Additional information

Join curatorial fellow Madeline Murphy Turner as she examines two works on paper by Ana Mendieta, both of which are featured in the exhibition Future Minded: New Works in the Collection (March 1–July 21, 2024). Together, we will discuss the role of water, fire, and earth in these works and in Mendieta’s broader performance practice.

Future Minded highlights a selection of works acquired in recent years that exemplify the Harvard Art Museums’ collecting vision and strategies. Nearly all are on display for the first time.
