    The ancient site of Hadda, located near present-day Jalalabad, was a major center of Buddhist art and culture between the 1st and 6th centuries CE. Hadda’s sculptures offer a glimpse into Afghanistan’s vibrant role in the spread of Buddhism along the Silk Road. This talk focuses on original artworks from Hadda and explores their historical and spiritual significance.
