    Additional information

As part of Boston AI Week, our Maker Hub is offering a special week-long activity: AI Collages.

AI can be a black box. Even computer scientists aren't always sure how neural networks make decisions.

Interpretability researchers use a technique called "feature visualization" to better understand image recognition AI: how does it decide whether an image is a dog or an airplane? Come make a paper collage using images produced by this technique and see how it helps us look inside AI's black box.
