Dates and Times

.: Wed, June 22 2022 11AM – 1PM.

We will first gather in the galleries for an introduction to the exhibition by curator Lynette Roth, who will examine a selection of Hager’s works as well as those of her predecessors and contemporaries. Then we’ll visit the Materials Lab, where conservator Penley Knipe will guide participants in the preparation of photosensitive cyanotype paper. (We may also go outdoors, weather permitting.)

Additional information

This workshop is inspired by the exhibition White Shadows: Anneliese Hager and the Camera-less Photograph, which explores the innovative camera-less photography of German artist Anneliese Hager (1904–1997). The exhibition is on view at the Harvard Art Museums through July 31, 2022.
