    Additional information

We invite you to welcome the Lunar New Year of the Horse with an inspiring Chinese papercutting workshop. Join multimedia artist Zhonghe (Elena) Li to learn about this traditional art, its rich symbolism, aesthetics, and philosophy. The artist will guide participants through the basic techniques of one-cut papercutting using scissors and how to assemble a paper lantern. You will then combine your own unique horse-themed paper cut designs and paper lanterns into unique and magical forms of light art with which to celebrate this special year of the Fire Horse.
