Additional information
Mending an old garment lends it new life. Visible mending—the practice of mending creatively to make a patch apparent—is a way to show that what we have is worthy of repair, and, ultimately, that we too are worth saving. Doing so oneself, by hand, can be an act of slowed connection with the garment and lets us take a step away from frenzied consumption and toward a more sustainable vision of the world. Mending supplies will be provided. Please bring an item of your own to repair. Beginners are warmly welcome
