Staring the 3rd Sunday in September, our week of events offers grassroots activities designed by your neighbors! Visit block parties, tea parties, cookouts, and yard sales, or design your own event!

Meet Your Neighbor Day starts the third Sunday in September each year. Our event series is an invitation for you to plan something that can bring together your neighbors — in a way that works for you! Recognizing the power of grassroots, locally-based connections, Meet Your Neighbor Day is convened by the Cambridge Peace Commission and cosponsored by the Citizens Committee on Civic Unity. It's a Cambridge-specific approach to building connections and community in our amazing city – built on the success of two national initiatives – and adapted to fit the needs of our city!
