About this event

An evening of short films from No Man’s Land Film Festival, the woman-focused adventure film festival based out Colorado. This screening will showcase five films, all featuring stories of women climbers: The Nose, Kakapo CrestConnection, Lady First and Superbloom.

No Man’s Land Film Festival (NMLFF) aims to inspire and lift up present and future generations of women to build a more equitable outdoors industry. NMLFF celebrates diverse gender identities and champsions the experiences of women, non-binary people and transgender men.

This program is presented in collaboration with the MIT Outing Club.

About this event

  • Registration is recommended!
  • Bring a blanket or chair along
  • Don’t forget to bundle up and pack an extra layer in case of chilly Fall weather
  • Sleeping bags, cocoa and hot cider will be provided to keep us all toasty

Keeping us safe: This event will follow all MIT policies and Covid safety guidelines. Face coverings are not required outdoors for vaccinated individuals, but you are most welcome to wear one if you wish. For unvaccinated individuals, wearing a face covering outdoors is required when unable to maintain 3 feet of physical distance.

About the MIT Outing Club

The MIT Outing Club (MITOC) is dedicated to helping the MIT and Cambridge community enjoy the great outdoors. MITOC members are students, staff, alumni, and faculty from MIT and the greater academic community who come together for year-round outdoor recreation in the company of other enthusiasts. MITOC members hike, climb, ski, bike, camp, tramp, backpack, snowshoe, and canoe to the highest, widest, most scenic vistas in New England and beyond!
