December’s special edition of the “Third Thursdays” monthly harmolodic jazz series promises to be a synesthetic evening of art, dance, poetry, and music curated by harmolodic scholar and practitioner Matt Lavelle, who is also a multi-instrumentalist (trumpet, alto clarinet), a visual artist and poet in his own right.

For this performance, Lavelle has created a visual and poetic interpretation of his musical concept, which will be further developed by the collaboration with dancer/performance artist K.J. Holmes along with musicians Dave Bryant , Frederick Williams, & James Kamal Jones.
