We offer STEAM, inquiry-based, and interdisciplinary learning programs that connect youth across cultures through real-world challenges, hands-on exploration, innovation, and mentorship.
Sign-up Information
- Ages: 11 to 16.
- Grades 6th grade through 10th grade.
- Eligibility for our X-STEAM Summer Discovery Program is ages 10 to 14.
- Eligibility for our X-STEAM Career Program (part of the Mayor's Summer Youth Employment Program) is ages 15 to 18.

Saturday, February 28 – Friday, April 3
- We have two rounds of applications with priority to students who apply in the first round (we accept applications on a rolling basis).
- In addition to completing the form, you're welcome to reach out to us to confirm or to ask for help.
Cost
$6,500-$12,500 for the summer. Tuition is based on a sliding scale.

The exact location for various aspects of the program are still TBD. As a whole, the program will take place on Harvard Campus.
Dates and Times
This is an ongoing program.
This program lasts for a full year. The initial, immersive summer experience takes place on the following dates:
- Harvard-MIT Inspired X-STEAM Discovery Program: June 27-July 10, 2026.
- X-STEAM Career Program (Mayor's Youth Employment): July 11-July 24, 2026.
- The summer portion is a residential program. Campers will stay on Harvard Campus.
- This initial experience leads into a 10-month, online curriculum.
Additional information
This program includes:
1. Positive Impact through STEAM – Applying science, technology, engineering, arts, and math to create meaningful social and environmental change.
2. Design Thinking – Using creative, human-centered methods to solve challenges in science, engineering, AI integration, and community projects
3. Engineering & Prototyping – Building and testing real-world solutions using tools, materials, emerging technologies, and AI-driven innovations.
4. Financial Literacy for Innovation – Understanding budgets, funding, and sustainability for STEAM-based projects.
5. Public Speaking in STEAM – Presenting technical and creative ideas clearly to diverse audiences.
