- Event Use: To request use of a non-athletic park (excluding Danehy Park), apply for a Park Permit through the Department of Public Works. The fee for a park event permit is $25.
- All other non-athletic, non-event, or small group use is free to patrons during park hours.

Additional information
The Hastings Square Historic District is located in the Cambridgeport Neighborhood (AKA The Coast). The historic district includes a small park and nearby homes. These homes, built between 1869 and 1892, are notable examples of Queen Anne architecture. The district was recognized as a historic place in 1982.
