Apply for Event Use: To request use of a non-athletic park (excluding Danehy Park), apply for a Park Permit through the Department of Public Works.
Cost
- Event Use: To request use of a non-athletic park (excluding Danehy Park), apply for a Park Permit through the Department of Public Works. The fee for a park event permit is $25.
- All other non-athletic, non-event, or small group use is free to patrons during park hours.

Additional information
This refers to the grassy area between Mount Auburn Street, Hawthorn Street, and Memorial Drive, close to the shore of the Charles River and near Harvard Square. Sometimes people also refer to "Riverbend Park" as the time on Sundays when Memorial Drive closes down in mid-spring through mid-autumn during daytime hours.
