Adventure Day Camp (formerly CADC) provides a dynamic, engaging, and educational experience that allows children to stretch beyond their current boundaries and develop their leadership potential.

Cambridge Camping provides programs for children and families from under-resourced circumstances in Cambridge and surrounding communities.  Eligibility for enrollment in this program may be determined based on household size and income.  The online enrollment process will ask families to submit documentation to verify household income to be reviewed by Cambridge Camping staff. Sign up can run until July, but it does normally fill up long before that for most groups.

Cost

Tuition support is provided on a sliding fee scale. Transportation, breakfast, and lunch are included in the cost of camp.

Adventure Day Camp takes place at Nashoba Brooks School in Concord, MA.  School bus transportation is provided from several Cambridge and Somerville neighborhoods.

Additional information

Adventure Day Camp provides a dynamic and engaging experience that allows children to stretch beyond their current boundaries and develop their leadership potential. Our program theme provides the framework for camp activities including: studio art, movement, performance art, dance, and engineering.

Weekly activities include:

  • Field trips
  • Art, cooking, sports, and science activities
  • Beaches and swim lessons
  • Tennis lessons (older campers)

ADC provides daily transportation, breakfast, lunch, and snack. This camp complies with regulations of the Massachusetts Department of Public Health.
