We are a weekly science and coding club for 6th-8th graders at several upper schools in Cambridge.

Tuesday and Wednesday. Afternoon.

We meet from 3:00-4:15 PM on Tuesdays at Cambridge Street Upper School and Wednesdays at Putnam Avenue Upper School starting February 2023.

Ages: 11 to 14.

Grades 6th grade through 8th grade.

Cambridge residents only.

Students must attend the school the Club is partnered with.  Starting February 2023, the Club will be offered to students at Cambridge Street and Putnam Ave Upper Schools.

Additional information

The Broad Institute is offering its after school Bio-Coding Club at Putnam Avenue Upper School and Cambridge Street Upper School this spring.  Club participants will have the opportunity to learn the Scratch programming language from Broad Institute scientists while also using hands-on activities to explore the world of biology. Program themes include: Biology, hands-on experiments, Coding with Scratch, DNA, the microbiome, infectious diseases and more.
