Bridging the Gap
Bridging The Gap enriches the lives of teenagers through a life-skills curriculum, site visits, and community service projects.
This is an ongoing program.
Ages: 12 to 17.
Grades 6th grade through 12th grade.

There is no formal application, but guardian of child is required to take part in intake process. Please contact BTG Director for more information.

The Bridging the Gap staff helps each youth to develop positive and successful decision-making skills.
Topics include self-esteem, anger management, communication, and job readiness. Every student who completes this program receives a laptop computer for their hard work. Program is run by the Salvation Army at their building in Central Square.
12 week life skills program available for youth, twice a week after school.
There is no cost to participate; young people who complete the program go home with a laptop computer.
