    Canopy Crew is a paid internship. Crew members are paid at stipend of $3,000 dollars over the course of the 8-month internship.

    Dates and Times

    This program runs during the school year.

  • Wednesday and Saturday.
  • From October-May, Canopy Crew meets 3:45-5:45pm on Wednesdays and from 9am-2pm on Saturdays. Canopy Crew does not meet during winter, February, or April break.

    Additional information

    From October-May, Crew members learn how to plant trees on private property across Cambridge to help build and grow our urban forest, while exploring green career, practicing community outreach and engagement, and learning about environmental science, justice, art, and policy through weekly classroom sessions. Applications are open in August-September every year.
