Additional information
Musical Playdates introduces rhythm, simple percussion instruments, sound games, stories, and dance, embracing styles and traditions from around the world and in our own backyard.
Our curriculum encourages cooperation and sharing, development of fine and gross motor skills, smooth transitions between activities, and creative expression. Songs and movements are thoughtfully introduced and repeated so that caregivers and children can continue to sing and play at home. Classes build on each other, introducing more advanced rhythms, instruments, and songs as children learn.
Musical Playdates is open to newborns through age 4 with their caregiver. We welcome all energy levels, styles of learning, and levels of participation. We differentiate and scaffold our instruction to meet the needs of the specific individuals enrolled. Come as you are, and enjoy making music with your child!
