Join us for enriching, playful, and fun math classes! Cambridge Math Circle (CMC) offers a range of classes (in-person and online) to students in grades 2-8. Check our website for more information.
Sign-up Information
- Ages: 6 to 14.
- Grades 1st grade through 8th grade.
Math Circle Classes, Saturdays:
Students are grouped according to grade: Grades 1-3, and Grades 4-8
CMC Preparatory Classes, Tuesdays & Thursdays over Zoom:
Students are grouped according to grade: Grades 3-5, Grades 4-6, and Grades 6-8
Registration required

- When you're ready to register, complete the online application.
- If you are interested in receiving financial aid, or attending for free, simply indicate that you would like financial aid on our application. You'll be asked to tell us your household size and household income. Email us if you have questions!
Cost
The program is free to qualified families, and need-based tuition discounts are available on a sliding scale.
Tuition Details:
- Saturday Math Circle Classes: $400
- After-school CMC Preparatory Classes:
- Tuesdays, Grades 3-6 (1 hour): $500
- Thursdays, Grades 6-8 (1.5 hours): $600

Saturday Math Circle Classes meet in the Science Center on Harvard University's main campus in Cambridge. The exact address, room number, and parking details are distributed upon registration.
CMC Preparatory Classes meet after-school, over Zoom. The Zoom link will be emailed to you after completing registration.

This is an ongoing program.
We provide 3 seasons of programming each year, meeting for 10 classes during each session. The time slot for the class(es) of your choice may be based on your child's grade level; times are listed on the website.
CMC Preparatory Classes, after school, online:

Additional information
Our enriching, playful, and fun math classes are a great fit for students in grades 2-8. Classes are designed to develop logic, creative problem-solving, and academic resilience skills.
Math Circle Classes: Saturdays, in-person. Students solve unusual problems through hands-on activities that strengthen their mental math and logic skills.
CMC Preparatory Classes: After-school, online. Using an existing curriculum, we reinforce and preview school math concepts. Students are taught in small groups of 2-6 and organized by students’ age and skill levels. Learn more at: www.cambridgemathcircle.org
Math Circle combines the best of American and Eastern European mathematical traditions by exposing children to fun, challenging math problems that they are unlikely to encounter in a traditional school setting or other math program. Preparatory Math uses nationally recognized curricula (Beast Academy and AoPS) to prepare students for more challenging math classes in high school and beyond.
