We provide shelter and permanent housing for our clients in several ways.
This is an ongoing program.
Ages: Adults.
Heading Home providers shelter to families and individuals in/from Greater Boston. All members of the immediate family unit are eligible regardless of age.

Families are typically referred to our services through an outside provider (like a medical health facility, another shelter or program, or a local agency.

The program location changes over time.

Cambridge clients can be referred in several ways. The easiest way is getting a referal through the Cambridge Multi-Service Center - 362 Green Street, Cambridge, MA 02139 (1st Floor, Monday - Friday).

Additional information
Heading Home has transitional/permanent housing, and support services, to low-income, homeless, and formerly homeless families and individuals. We provide shleter in 3 different formats:
Congregate = where a group of families live under the same roof (with their own bedrooms) and share common spaces.
Co-shelter = where 2 families live together in an apartment (with their own bedrooms).
Scattered Site= where a single family lives in a private apartment alone (usually for larger families, families with older children, or families with significant medical needs).
