The MIT Full STEAM Ahead Educators Immersion Program is a summer enrichment opportunity that combines hands-on exploration, project-based learning principles, and program co-design.

Full STEAM Ahead is open to Massachusetts school-based and out-of-school time educators. We encourage groups of educators to apply together and work as a cohort to develop something new for their classroom, school, or organization.

Dates and Times
This program runs during the summer.
This program will run from July 8 to 18, 2025, Monday – Friday, Morning to Early Afternoon with Full Detailed Schedule TBA. There will also be a scheduled session during the week of July 21st.
Additional information
During a two-week summer engagement, the FSA team seeks to unpack the lessons learned from Full Steam Ahead and present these ideas as learning “building blocks” that participating educators will use to develop new programs that they will implement within their classrooms, schools, or organizations. Participants will also be asked to “playtest” a portion of their pilot with groups of middle school students.
Educators will receive a stipend for their participation in the two-week summer program and initial funding of materials for implementing their new programs during the upcoming school year.
