Delivery and Senior Services at the Library

We offer a monthly delivery of library materials to Cambridge residents who are unable to visit a library due to short- or long-term disability or infirmity.

This is an ongoing program.
Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

We will deliver your materials during the second full week of the month on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday. We will pick up your returns from the previous delivery at the same time.

Ages: Adults.

Cambridge residents only.

Our service must be scheduled in advanced. To request homebound delivery, please fill out the application and return it to the Main Library (449 Broadway). We generally respond within one week of receiving your application.

Library bags will be supplied for deliveries.

Additional information

This service must be scheduled in advance and is reserved for eligible patrons. All circulating library materials are eligible for homebound delivery, including books, audiobook, DVDs and music CDs. Items are checked out for 4 weeks and can be renewed 2 times.
