We offer high quality, humanistic ballet education and training for children of all levels age 3 and up.
Sign-up Information
- Ages: 3 to 18.
Eligibility is based on age.
Application required
- Sign-up is ongoing
- Rolling enrollment from now until the end of the school year.
- We recommend signing up for a trial class before fully enrolling (enrollment is ongoing).
- Visit our website, determine the appropriate level for placement by age if under 8-years-old.
- Our Middle and Upper Divisions (mostly ages 8+) may require an audition.
Cost
Cost depends on number of hours/week, see each class for specific rates of tuition on the Young Dancers Program page (click on Tuition Rates and Information section). The prices for the entire year of programming start at $821 per year for between 1-6 days of classes per week. Some need-based scholarships are available. You can apply for assistance via the registration form.

YOUNG DANCERS PROGRAM CAMBRIDGE AND DORCHESTER The Young Dancers Program is JMBT’s yearlong training program for students ages 3–18, with studios in Harvard Square, Cambridge and Dorchester, Boston. JMBT is also the presenter of Dance for World Community, an initiative that harnesses the power of dance to create social change. Our Young Dancers Program centers around the themes of Ballet, Dance, Movement, and Performance for ages 3-18 and includes a performance.
