Afterschool Activities

Our classrooms are designed to link the school-day and after-school experiences for children and families enrolled in the King Open School.

Learn to play the Steel Pan, basic music, and leadership development.

Cambridge residents with children in grades K-8 apply to DHSP Afterschool Programs through this lottery application. The lottery opens in April for the coming school year.

Cambridge Girls Softball League fields teams for Spring, Summer, and Fall Seasons. No prior experience needed to play at any of the levels – just a willingness to learn, try your best, and have fun.

We offer soccer programs for children ages 4 - 8th Grade during Fall and Spring seasons. Everyone plays! Beginners and experienced players welcome!

We offer weekly arts education classes for youth (5th-7th grade) that include dancing, acting, and other movement-based arts.

We provide a variety of programs and leagues, both informal and official, that help children ages 3-12 strengthen baseball skills, play baseball games, and become leaders in their community.

We partner with local businesses and organizations to sponsor free events in parks across the city.
