The Harvard Film Archive's cinematheque presents films Friday through Monday nights year round. The HFA is known for screening films in the original formats and often hosting filmmakers in person.

Keyboardist Dave Bryant, a long-time Cambridge resident, has established "Third Thursdays with Dave Bryant and Friends", a monthly harmolodic jazz series held at the Harvard-Epworth Church.

The MIT Educational Studies Program (ESP) hosts events for local middle/high school students and the MIT community.
