This is a paid career exploration and internship program for young adults (ages 18-24) living in Cambridge who've graduated high school (or Hi-Set) but still don't know their next steps in life.

We provide summer reading book recommendations; activities for children, teens, and adults; live events; as well as prizes and giveaways throughout July and August.
Just A Start
We are a youth workforce development program for out-of-school youth ages 16 - 24 from Boston Metro North communities. Students work towards their HiSET while developing workforce readiness skills.
We offer a monthly delivery of library materials to Cambridge residents who are unable to visit a library due to short- or long-term disability or infirmity.

We have over 200 collections and nearly 2,700 books, spanning the 17th - 21st Centuries, featuring the political and social history of Cambridge.
The Cambridge Public Library offers free computer classes, book groups, English classes, makerspace workshops, and lots more upcoming opportunities to learn.
The Literacy Project offers free classes in English conversation, job hunting and resume writing.
DHSP Community Learning Center
Two free CNA training programs that include job placement, hands on training through Labouré College and the cost of the exam itself. Transportation provided from Cambridge.
We provide language access services for people with limited English; in medical, legal, and community settings; while creating job opportunities for Language Access Fellows.

Agenda for Children Literacy Initiative and Center for Families
Cambridge Dads was created to increase fatherhood engagement in programming. The program strives to ensure dads are engaged, informed, and feel supported in their role as parents.
Our programs serve to improve awareness of the importance of oral health to overall health by providing oral health education, dental screenings, and assistance with access to care.
